Worked Hard To Meet Singles
When I was younger, I thought that if I wanted to meet singles all it took was going out; but as I grew older I had less and less time available for going out. When I turned thirty (five years ago) I saw that my business life is sort of eating away my personal life, because I was just too tangled in day-to-day work and small obligations and tasks to notice that my dating life is suffering.
I slowly started going out less; crazy nights out in Wellington became a burden rather than pleasure, and I was even wondering at one point should I completely quit dating and settle for less. But my stubborn nature wasn't really ready to give up: realizing I had less time, I started using online dating combined with real nights out.
It turned out to be a fantastic combination and I'm happy to say that I had a bunch of dates before finding my man, completely by chance during a business meeting! That showed me that my doubts were unfounded and that I had nothing to be concerned about, because you can meet singles in unexpected places.
